So I've been to a couple parties & baby showers recently where I'm pretty blown away by the creativity of some people, with the fancy decorations & fun atmosphere. Specifically the dessert table. I found this cutesie little post on hgtv.com about how to decorate one!
Pick a theme, and typically use a patterned backdrop- be it fabric, a shower curtain, tablecloth, anything.
Have something hanging behind the table- the pom pom balls, tissue balls, you know...
Look for symmetry, such as a cake in the center
Use white accessories since they can be reused for any party theme
Have tasty & unique desserts-
I love these cake pops! Well scratch that, I've never eaten one (yet) but I love the idea

These are french macaroons. Yum right? I'm kinda salivating on my keyboard right now
Rock candy- such a cool visual, upright in a jar would be awesome

And lastly, have little paper labels. It's a legit party only if you have these ;)
