One Kings Lane

There exists a fancy little website www.onekingslane.com  that has been the source of much of my time spent on the internet everyday... mainly because they have new deals every few days on home furniture, accessories, and knick knacks and they're hugely discounted from designers! At times, the products are not my cup of tea, but I'm really liking what's going on today!
This travel bag is on sale for $42, I think it's pretty cute if I may say so
This office collection is all discounted over 50%. While I can't afford to furnish our office, this is kind of the look I want to go for. Manly leather and studs (my husband would have an office no other way), yet it's still sexy with the shine. I love the gray one... and hey, just throw in a rattlesnake wastebasket while you're at it.
Magazine holder.. fancy schmancy

These are tables, I love the style. I actually think the gray ones would be smashing as bedside tables

It's about that time

Thanksgiving just barely ended but I've had my Christmas stuff up for weeks, no shame either! And let me tell you, leaving sunny Arizona to arrive in snowy wintry Utah means it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I have been meaning every year to get a cute wreath for our front door, or make one, and here's some fabulous options.. honestly I can't even choose, they're all so pretty
tissue paper

pine cone and moss
red chili peppers! I know right?
glass balls.. if my son doesn't break em all, pulling them off the tree, which I might add looks ridiculously bare on the bottom half
acorns spray painted gold
Can't remember what this is made from! Sorry.. you'll have to use your imagination ;)
shabby chic ribbon
I believe these were coffee filters or something of the like. so creative
buttons, buttons, who's got the button?
plastic!

Blog stalkers: Identify yourselves!!

I'm a blog stalker, yes I am, admittedly. There's nothing wrong with that. And I welcome any blog stalkers to my blog(s) because, well that's why I blog, so people can read them! I just like to know who you are. Thus I won't feel like I'm jabbering off to myself, posting things that I only I look at or care about!
I'm asking for some comments people, and followers! This is how I intend to get a business up and running in the future, so I appreciate your help!

Thank you much =)

Bijou Market

I've heard about the Bijou Market that occurs around this time every year in Provo, but I hadn't ever gone til today! Local sellers who have home-made all their items come to sell in one location (kind of like a big Etsy party!) I'm very excited about my goods I picked up! (Don't tell my husband please).
First off- disregard how crappy my camera is!!
I am a fan of black and white, and felt my ugly couch needed one more pillow. I love black and white with colors, and came across this pillow with a bow! Score

So this is a spill mat/play mat/mess mat for kids. I have been so sick of Carter throwing his food on the floor and having to mop every day, so this is my solution!

And I'm in love with these prints. (Can you tell I'm really into stripes lately?) And excuse the glare, but this little print is the shape of Brazil, where I served my mission. She custom does any US state, a few countries, and you can pick the colors! The frame was an ugly brown Target frame we got for our wedding- the sad thing is I actually registered for it! Looks much better spray painted white, as does many an ugly frame =)

J. Crew factory

Is this news to everyone else or just me? J.Crew.com now has a factory site, which discounts tons of stuff during the weekend only. This pretty much made my day, or weekend rather =)

Spotted

I spotted a few of these lovelies the other day and I was actually kind of impressed! Guess where they're from! $20 to whoever guesses it.... What am I saying?! You should pay me for finding it for you! ;)

If you thought to yourself, "this looks a lot like something from Walmart," you would be correct! And I'd be pretty amazed because these do not scream Walmart to me. Who would have thought?! They have some very cute things online

The statement mirror

I've said it time and again- I'm obsessed with mirrors. And the sunburst mirror is one of my faves! Funny that when I was a teen, I had this star/moon/sun night theme going on in my room, which sounds ridiculous now but I wish I had held onto that gold sun mirror!
For a year or so, these beauties have been so popular, and I don't see them going out of style anytime soon. They're totally interesting in shape and fits right in with my taste of old Hollywood glam.

Now these mirrors can get pricey, and aren't as available as I hoped, but from the blog Three Men and a Lady, I discovered last year this awesome makeover!
She found this gold mirror at like TJ Maxx or something for $30 but it was too small for the wall..
She added SKEWERS! For $1 plus some paint, she added more size and made quite a statement. Amazing no?
